"The British sense of humour is famous around the world - although to be fair it baffles many foreigners as to just why! Perhaps more than any other source, comedy songs have reflected this sense of humour most accurately and the songs we have collected together in this collection underline the fact. To some older listeners, it will be a magical journey down memory lane, to the younger folk, an insight into what made British comedy the finest and funniest in the world. - Paddy Roberts"

  1. What was the criteria used to decide upon which if these songs would be used in the later "Bring Me Sunshine" compilation?

    1. There was no 'criteria', The 'Bring Me Sunshine' set was compiled by a different compiler whose restrictions were based on what record companies would license material to RD at the time. The track listing was compiled without reference to this set.
