This collection enabled me to introduce a computer database to the system of compiling albums in the UK. A simple error of including the same track twice on this album "Sleigh Ride" was enough evidence required to convince people that a computerised system would stop any such mistakes. It took a while, but eventually a system was introduced.

The first British RD collection to be programmed specifically for CD. For the first time I persuaded the 'powers that be' that programming for cassette and the splitting the programmes for CD looked riduculous on what was now the dominant format. This certainly made life a lot easier for us programmers.
The design was originally intended to be a bright gold printed on metalic paper, but as the budget was cut at the last minute, normal paper was used, and the 'dull brown' became a magnet for critical comments on the collection. The artwork was re-designed for the main mailing in 1996.
