  1. I'm thinking about buying this box set 2nd hand. What I would like to know is whether this set only has the EPIC recordings of his songs, or also the Original RCA versions (e.g. Lady love - There won't be anymore - Big boss man). Do you happen to know? Regards, René

    1. When I put this set together, I tried to include as many original recordings from his entire catalogue, so not only did it include the Epic and RCA recordings, but the early Sun recordings and a smattering of the Philips releases also. Unfortunately I couldn't get the later Elektra or EMI releases. Of the 3 titles you mention, Lady Love and TWBA are the 1973 and 1975 RCA releases, Big BM is the 1963 Groove Records version. All details are in the booklet.
